Karakazan, Ağrı ilinin Hamur ilçesine bağlı bir köydür.

Tarihçe

Köyün eski adı 1928 yılı kayıtlarında Kurmanci'de "Atmanek uşağı" anlamına gelen Kuriki Atmankî olarak geçmektedir.[4]

Coğrafya

Köy, Ağrı il merkezine 35 km, Hamur ilçe merkezine 23 km uzaklıktadır.[5] Köyün, Akören, Bozoçayırı, Danacık, Yazılı ve Şehid isimli 5 mezrası bulunmaktadır.[6]
