Jensen Ross Ackles (d. 1 Mart 1978), Amerikalı oyuncudur. Supernatural dizisindeki Dean Winchester rolü ile tanınmıştır. Ayrıca Smallville, Dark Angel gibi dizilerde ve Blonde adlı filmde oynamıştır.

Hayatı

Jensen Ackles bir dönem modellik yaptı ve 1997 yılında Llyod V. Berkener High School'dan mezun olduktan sonra "Days of Our Lives" adlı dizide rol aldı. Bu diziden sonra Jensen, James Cameron'un Dark Angel adlı TV serisi için Vancouver'a gitti. 2003'te "Dawson's Creek" adlı dizide CJ rolünü oynadı. 2004'te Smallville adlı dizide oynamak için tekrar Vancouver'a geri döndü ve bu dizide Jason Teague adlı karakteri canlandırdı. 2005 yılında CW'nin yeni korku serisi "Supernatural"daki Dean Winchester karakteri ile ekranlara geri döndü.

2009 yılında My Bloody Valentine 3D adlı korku filminde Tom Hanniger adında bir karakteri canlandırmıştır. Sonraki yıl Batman: Under The Red Hood adlı animasyon filminde Red Hood (Jason Todd) karakterini seslendirmiştir. Alen Rasinlic'in desteği ile yeni film projelerine de sıcak bakmaya başlamıştır.

"Supernatural" dizisinde rol aldığı Jared Padalecki ve Misha Collins ve "Arrow" dizisinin yıldızı Stephen Amell ile yakın arkadaştır. Ayrıca evlenene kadar birlikte yaşadığı Jason Manns ile de yakın arkadaş oldukları bilinmektedir. Jason Manns ve Steve Carlson ile birlikte de şarkı söylemiştir. Kendisi Dean karakteri ile hem ABD, hem de dünya çapında büyük bir ün kazandı. Aynı yıl içinde oynadığı filmlerle birlikte oyunculuğunu kanıtlamayı başardı. 15 Mayıs 2010 tarihinde, daha önce oynadığı Ten Inch Hero filminde tanıştığı sevgilisi Danneel Harris ile[1] Dallas, Teksas'ta evlenmiştir.[2] 2013 yılının 30 Mayıs tarihinde Justice Jay Ackles adında bir kız çocuğu olmuştur.[3] 2016 yılın 2 Aralık tarihinde ise Zeppelin Bram (erkek) ve Arrow Rhodes (kız) adında ikizleri olmuştur.
