Claudio Benjamín Naranjo Cohen (24 Kasım 1932 -12 Temmuz 2019), Şilili yazar, aktivist ve psikiyatr.[1][2]

Yaşamı ve kariyeri

Faslı-İspanyol Yahudisi asıllı bir aileye mensup olan Claudio Naranjo 24 Kasım 1932'de Berkeley, Kaliforniya, ABD'de doğdu.[3] Psikoterapinin ve manevi geleneklerin bütünleştirilmesinde öncü olarak kabul edilmiştir. Enneagram Kişilik Kuramları ana geliştiricisi ve "Gerçeği Ardından Arayanlar Enstitüsü" kurucusu olan Fritz Perls ile birlikte (Gestalt Terapisi'nin kurucusu) üç bilim insanından birisiydi..[4] Cohen son dönemde Latin Amerika'nın yetiştirdiği başarılı çalışmalara imza atmış bir bilim insanı ve küresel insan hakları konusunda mücadele eden aktvistti.[5]

Ölümü

Aynı zamanda çeşitli türde kitaplarda kaleme alan Şilili psikiyatr, aktivist ve yazar Claudio Naranjo 12 Temmuz 2019'da 86 yaşında yaşamını sürdürdüğü Berkeley, Kaliforniya, ABD'de ölmüştür.
