Abdulmuttalip Gül (15 Haziran 1926, Çaykara - 17 Haziran 1997), Türk din görevlisi, kamu yöneticisi ve siyasetçidir. Adalet Partisi'nden TBMM 16. dönem Zonguldak milletvekilliği yapmıştır.

Yaşamı

İbrahim Ali ve Huriye çiftinin oğlu olarak 1926 yılında Trabzon'un Çaykara ilçesinde doğdu. İlköğrenimini köyünde tamamlayan Gül, Arapça da öğrendi. Hafızlık eğitimini, köyünde bulunan Müderris Hacı Mustafa Efendi ve Hacı Dursun Efendi'den özel ders alarak tamamladı.[1]

1952 yılında Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığınca açılan Müftülük-Vaizlik imtihanını kazanarak Zonguldak Merkez Vaizliği görevine atandı, daha sonra 1957'de Zonguldak Müftülüğü'ne getirildi. 1957 ile 1974 yılları arasında Zonguldak Müftüsü olarak hizmet verdi. Daha sonra 1974 yılında Çankırı Müftülüğü'ne atandı. Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığının 1975 yılında düzenlediği Hafızlık sınavını iyi dereceyle geçerek hafızlık belgesini aldı.[2]

Abdulmuttalip Gül, Çankırı İl Müftüsü olarak görev yaptığı sırada, 5 Haziran 1977 genel seçimlerinde Adalet Partisi'nden Zonguldak Milletvekili olarak seçildi ve 16. Dönem Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'nde görev aldı. Ancak, 1 Haziran 1979 tarihinde isteği üzerine emekliye ayrıldı. Sonrasında 14 Aralık 1987'de Ankara-Çankaya vaizliğine atandı, ama kısa bir süre sonra bu görevinden de ayrıldı. 17 Haziran 1997'de öldü.

Abdulmuttalip Gül, evli ve beş çocuk babasıydı. Oğullarından Mehmet Burhan Gül, Doğru Yol Partisi'nin Zonguldak İl Başkanlığı görevinde bulundu.[3]
