Ang ratan (siyentipikong pangalan: Calameae) ay isang uri ng halaman na kaya tumubo mula 250 hanggang 650 na metro. Itong halaman ay makikita sa Aprika, India, at Timog-Silangang Asya. Ang ratan ay mayroong tendrils sa dulo ng mga dahon upang umakyat sa ibang puno.
Ang ratan ay ginagawang mga kasangkapan sa bahay. Ang Pilipinas at Indonesia ang naggagawa ng pinakamaraming produkto mula sa ratan. Sa ibang salin ng salita, ang ratan ay tinawag ding uway at yantok na ginagamit sa paggawa ng sandalan ng upuan,duyan at gamit sisidlad gaya ng malalaking buslo.
