Ang Turate (Comasco, Varesino: Turaa [tyˈraː]) ay isang comune (komuna o munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Como sa rehiyon ng Lombardia ng hilagang Italya, na matatagpuan mga 25 kilometro (16 mi) hilagang-kanluran ng Milan at mga 25 kilometro (16 mi) timog-kanluran ng Como.

May hangganan ang Turate sa mga sumusunod na munisipalidad: Cirimido, Cislago, Fenegrò, Gerenzano, Limido Comasco, Lomazzo, at Rovello Porro.

Kasaysayan

Ang teritoryo ng Turate, bago ang pagdating ng mga sinaunang Romano, ay pinaninirahan ng mga Insubre. Mula sa Turatum, ang Romanong pangalan ng Turate, ay dumaan sa Via Mediolanum-Bilitio, na nag-uugnay sa Mediolanum (Milan) sa Luganum (Lugano) na dumadaan sa Varisium (Varese).
