Si Tony Abbott (ipinanganak noong 4 Nobyembre 1957) ay ang ika-28 na Punong Ministro ng Australya mula 2013 hanggang 2015. Siya rin ang pederal na lider ng Liberal Party (PLA) mula 2009 hanggang 2013.
Sa parlamento (2015–2019)
Naging bahagi siya ng parlamento magmula noong 2015 bilang isang backbencher. Nawala sa kanya ang upuan ng Warringah nang matalo siya ni Zali Steggall noong halalang 2019.
Noong 2017, dineklara ni Abbott ang pangangailangang pagputol sa lahat ng mga subsidiya sa nababagong enerhiya gayundin sa uling. Ito ay dahil mas mainam bigyang-pansin muna ng gobyerno ang pagkakaroon ng maaasahang enerhiya sa buong bansa. Ayon din kay Abbott, ang presyo ng uling at enerhiyang nababago ay hindi gaanong kamahal para bigyan pa ito ng subsidiya.[2]
