Ang tapis o tapi[1] ay uri ng kasuotang binubuo ng isang piraso ng tela lamang. Ginagamit ito ng mga lalaki o kaya ng mga babae, na minsang pinanatili sa puwesto sa pamamagitan ng isang sinturon. Kapag ibinalabal sa balakang[2], natatakpan ng damit na ito ang kasariang pagkakakilanlan at maging ang buo o bahagi ng puwitan o mga pisngi ng puwit. Halos kamukha ito ng palda.
