Ang Sahel ( /səˈhɛl/; Arabe: ساحل sāḥil [ˈsaːħil], "baybayin, dalampasigan")[1] ay ang ekoklimatiko at bioheograpikong larangan ng paglipat sa Africa sa pagitan ng Sahara sa hilaga at ng Sudanesang sabana sa timog. Mayroon isang malatigang na klima, ito ay umaabot sa timog-gitnang latitudo ng Hilagang Africa sa pagitan ng Dagat Atlantiko at ng Dagat Pula.

Ang bahagi ng Sahel ng Africa ay nagsasama mula sa kanluran hanggang sa silangan na bahagi ng hilagang Senegal, timog Mauritania, gitnang Mali, hilagang Burkina Faso, ang dakong timog ng Algeria, Niger, ang dakong hilaga ng Nigeria, ang dakong hilaga ng Cameroon at Central Africa Republic, gitnang Ang Chad, gitna at timog ng Sudan, ang dakong hilaga ng South Sudan, Eritrea, at ang dakong hilaga ng Ethiopia.[2]
