Ang Montecrestese ay isang comune (komuna o munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, rehiyon ng Piamonte, hilagang Italya, na matatagpuan mga 140 kilometro (87 mi) hilagang-silangan ng Turin at mga 35 kilometro (22 mi) hilagang-kanluran ng Verbania, sa hangganan ng Suwisa. Noong Disyembre 31, 2004, mayroon itong populasyon na 1,197 at may lawak na 86.4 kilometro kuwadrado (33.4 mi kuw).[3]
May hangganan ang Montecrestese sa mga sumusunod na munisipalidad: Campo (Vallemaggia) (Suwisa), Crevoladossola, Crodo, Masera, Premia, at Santa Maria Maggiore.
Binubuo ang munisipalidad ng isang complex ng maraming maliliit na nayon na nakakalat sa isang lugar na 86 km² na kinabibilangan din ng buong Lambak ng Isorno; ito ay matatagpuan sa kaliwa ng itaas na kurso ng ilog Toce.
