Ang Monte Colombo ay isang frazione at dating komuna (munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Rimini sa rehiyon ng Italya na Emilia-Romaña, na matatagpuan mga 120 kilometro (75 mi) timog-silangan ng Bolonia at mga 15 kilometro (9 mi) timog ng Rimini.

Ang Monte Colombo ay may hangganan sa mga sumusunod na munisipalidad: Coriano, Gemmano, Montescudo, at San Clemente.

Kasaysayan

Bagaman ang lugar ay naglalaman ng ilang mga tirahan at nakakalat na mga pamayanan noong mga Panahong Romano at Bisantino, ang kasalukuyang bayan ay nagmula sa Gitnang Kapanahunan mula sa isang kastilyong itinayo dito ng pamilya Malatesta. Matapos ang pagbagsak ng huli at isang maikling panahon sa ilalim ni Cesare Borgia, ang Monte Colombo ay nakuha ng Republika ng Venecia, na gayunpaman ay ibinigay ito sa mga Estado ng Simbahan noong 1509 – 10.

Noong 1 Enero 2016, pinagsama ng Monte Colombo ang Montescudo upang mabuo ang bagong munisipalidad ng Montescudo-Monte Colombo.[3]
