Nagsimula ito ng mga opisyal na pagsasahimpapawid noong Marso 21, 1951, at ipinadala nang libre-to-air sa buong bansa sa pamamagitan ng mga kaakibat na istasyon, kasama ang XEW-TDT sa Lungsod ng Mehiko na nagsisilbing punong barkong istasyon.
