Ang kagwang (Cynocephalus volans) ay isa sa dalawang species ng lumilipad lemurs, ang tanging dalawang uri ng pamumuhay sa order na Dermoptera. Bukod dito, ito ay ang tanging miyembro ng genus Cynocephalus. Ang kamakailang pananaliksik mula sa pagtatasa ng henetiko ay nagpapahiwatig ng dalawang iba pang mga species, ang Bornean flying lemur at ang Javan flying lemur, ay maaaring umiiral, gayunpaman, ngunit mayroon pa silang opisyal na naiuri ito.
