Si Guardian (James Jacob "Jim" Harper) ay isang superhero na karakter sa komiks ng DC Comics, na ipinakilala noong Abril 1942 ng manunulat/tagaguhit na si Joe Simon at ang tagaguhit na si Jack Kirby.

Kahawig ni Guardian ang mga naunang mga karakter nina Kirby at Simon na si Captain America (unang nailathala sa Marvel Comics na 13 buwan na mas maaga) na kung saan wala siyang higit-sa-taong lakas o kapangyarihan at bitbit lamang ang isang hindi mawasak na kalasag.

Sa serye ng Arrowverse na Supergirl, si James Olsen na ginampanan ni Mehcad Brooks ay naging superhero na si Guardian. Bagaman, lumabas si James Harper sa unang season bilang isang koronel ng marino na ginampanan ni Eddie McClintock.
