Ang dolyar (kinakatawan sa pamamagitan ng tanda ng dolyar: "$") ay ang pangalan ng opisyal na pananalapi sa ilang mga bansa, dependesiya at ibang mga rehiyon. Ang Dolyar ng Estados Unidos ang pinakamalawak ang sirkulasyon na pananalapi sa buong daigdig.

Hindi mula sa wikang Kastila ang "dolyar"; ang wastong Kastila ng Ingles na dollar (DA-l'r) ay dólar[1] (DO-lar). Ang kataga/pagbikas sa Pilipino ng "dolyar" ay malamang galing sa tuntunin ng wikang Kastila na ang dalawang magkatabing "L" (ll) ay binibigkas bilang "ly"[2]. Dahil ang baybayin sa Ingles ay dollar, nakaugalian na sa wikang Pilipino na bigkasin ito bilang do-LYAR.
