Ang burete (Ingles: burette o buret; Kastila: bureta) ay isang patayong instrumentong katulad ng tubong ginagamit sa pagsukat at paghihiwalay ng nalalamang mga dami ng mga likido habang nasa loob ng mga laboratoryo.[1] Tumpak na tumpak ang mga burete, at maaaring sukatin ng isa ang bolyum ng isang pluwido na may katumpakang ±0.05 mL.

Kasaysayan

Noong 1971, pinaunlad ni Francois Antoine Henri Descroizilles ang unang burete.[2] Sa paglaon, umimbento si Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac ng mas kumpletong burete.
