Si Barabbas o Hesus Barabbas (Griyego: Ἰησοῦς Bαραββᾶς o Iēsoûs Barabbâs) ay isang tauhan na binanggit sa Bagong Tipan. Siya ay manghihimagsik na kinulong ng gobernador na Romano sa parehong panahon ni Hesus at pinalaya ni Poncio Pilato sa Paskuwa sa Herusalem habang si Hesus ay hindi pinalaya. SIya ay tinawag na Hesus sa Ebanghelyo ni Mateo 27:16-17.

Pinagmulan ng pangalang Barabbas

Ang Griyegong Bαραββᾶς ay hinango sa Aramaikong בּר אַבָּא o Bar ʾAbbā na literal na may kahulugang "Anak ng ʾAbbā/ Ama" na isang patronimikong pangalang Aramaiko. Ang pangalang Abbā ay matatagpuan bilang pangalang personal sa isang unang siglong libingan sa Giv'at ha-Mivtar at karaniwang pangalan sa seksiyong Gemara ng Talmud.
