Ang aholote o axolotl (mula sa Nahuatl: āxōlōtl) na kilala rin bilang isang Mehikanong salamandra (Ambystoma mexicanum) o isang Mehikanong isdang palakad-lakad, ay isang salamandra, malapit na nauugnay sa salamandra-tigre. Kahit na ang aholote ay kolokial kilala bilang isang "isdang palakad-lakad", ito ay hindi isang isda, ngunit isang ampibiyano. Ang mga espesye ay nagmula sa maraming lawa, tulad ng Lawa ng Xochimilco na nakabatay sa Lungsod ng Mehiko.
