Ang Australian Open ay isa sa apat na Grand Slam na torneo ng tenis. Nagsimula ito noong 1905 at mula 1972 ay ginaganap sa Melbourne, Victoria. Noong 1988, naging hard court event ito at sa kasalukuyan ay idinaraos sa Melbourne Park tuwing huling dalawang linggo ng Enero, kasabay ng Extreme heat policy kapag matindi ang init.
