Ang Anguis, o mabagal na uod ay isang maliit na henus ng butiki sa pamilyang Anguidae. Ito ay may dalawang espesye. Bagaman ang mga ito ay butiki, ang mga ito ay kumpletong nawalan ng mga biyas o hita at kadalasang maling napagkakamalang mga ahas. Ang mga ito ay mababagal gumalaw at madaling mahuli. Gaya ng maraming mga butiki, ang mga mabagal na uod ay makapaglalaglag ng mga buntot nito upang ilihis ang mga maninila nito. Ang buntot nito ay muling lumalago ngunit bihirang sa haba ng orihinal na buntot nito. Ang mga mabagal na uod ay maitatangi mula sa mga ahas sa ilang mga katangian: ang mga takipmata(eyelid) nito na wala sa mga ahas, ang maliit na bukasan sa tenga nito na wala rin sa mga ahas at mga dila nito na hugis V kesa sa kumpletong hati sa dalawang linya sa ahas. Ang mga ito ay protektadong espesye sa British Isles.
