முதலாம் மகிந்தன் என்பவன் இலங்கையின் அனுராதபுர இராசதானியை ஆண்ட அரசர்களுள் ஒருவனாவான். இவன் அனுராதபுரத்தை 738 தொடக்கம் 741 வரை ஆட்சி செய்தான். இவன் இரண்டாம் லம்பகர்ண வம்சத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவன். இவன் தனது சகோதரனான மூன்றாம் காசியப்பனின் பின்னர் ஆட்சிபீடம் ஏறினான். இவனின் பின் இவனது மருமகன் ஆறாம் அக்கபோதி ஆட்சி பீடம் ஏறினான்.
