Софија Дакарет Чар (шп. Sofía Daccarett Char; Форт Лодердејл, 10. април 1993),[1][2] позната као Софија Карсон (енгл. Sofia Carson), америчка је глумица и певачица. На телевизији се први пут појавила као гостујућа улога у серији Остин и Али. Године 2015. постала је позната као Иви, ћерка Зле краљице, у филму Наследници.

Глумила је у филму Бебиситерке у акцији (2016), Тини: Нови живот Виолете (2016), Прича о Пепељуги: Ако ципелица пристаје (2016) и Иза затворених врата (2020). Такође је глумила Аву Џалали у драмској серији Слатке мале лажљивице: Перфекционисти (2019). Глас је позајмила у филму Мој мали пони: Нова генерација (2021) и серији Спајдермен (2017). Поред тога, глумила је и у филму Осети ритам (2020) и Пурпурна срца (2022).

Детињство и младост

Рођена је 10. априла 1993. године у Форт Лодердејлу.[2][3] Ћерка је Хосеа Џ. Дакарета и Лауре Чар Карсон, који су родом из Баранкиље али су се преселили на Флориду.[1][4] Софија је одабрала уметничко презиме „Карсон” по својој баби по мајци, Лорин Карсон.[5] Преко своје мајке, повезана је са политичарском породицом Чар из Колумбије.[1][6]

Похађала је школу Сент Хју и дипломирала на Керолтон школи Светог срца у Мајамију.[3] Активно се бавила плесом и такмичила широм САД.[3][7] Затим је похађала Универзитет Калифорније, смер комуникација на француском језику.[7][8]
