Сен Назер (фр. Saint-Nazaire) град је и лука у западној Француској у региону Лоара, у департману Атлантска Лоара. Налази се на десној обали естуара реке Лоара, на њеном ушћу у Атлантски океан. Град Нант је 50 километара ка истоку. По подацима из 2006. године број становника у месту је био 68.838.

Сен Назер лежи јужно од мочваре Ла Бријер (la Brière). Године 1800. имао је свега 3216 становника. Сен Назер се снажно развио у доба Индустријске револуције.

Петао је постао симбол Француске, захваљујући игри речи. Наиме, на латинском језику, "gallus" је значио и петао и гал, а током римске епохе, Француска се звала Галија. Стога је дошло до поистовећивања петла са Галијом и Галима, а данас и са Француском.
