Lumi Emajõgi duke rrjedhur mespërmes qytetit të Tartusë

Lumi Emajõgi është lumi i dytë më i madh në Estoni dhe i vetmi i lundrueshëm. Buron nga Liqeni Võrtsjärv dhe rrjedh mespërmes Tartusë e derdhet në Liqenin Peipsi. Ka një gjatësi prej 100 km. Emajõgi do të thotë "Lumi Mëmë" në estonisht.

Rrjedha

Burimi i lumit është verilindja e Liqeni Võrtsjärv, nga ku lumi rrjedh drejt lindjes drejt Liqenit Peipsi. Në rrjedhën e sipërme të lumit, lumi rrjedh mes një zone fushore të mbushur me moçalishte dhe këneta ku dhe ka krijuar gjarpërime të shumta dhe ka shtrat të ndryshueshëm. Në gjatësinë e mesme të lumit, lumi rrjedh në një shtrat më të drejtë dhe në një luginë të cekët. Në afërsi të grykëderdhjes së tij, lumi rrjedh në një fushë moçalore.
