Anastasi III

Papa Anastasius III ( latinisht : Anastasius Tertius ; rreth 865 - qershor 913 [1] ) ishte peshkopi i Romës dhe sundimtari i Shteteve Papnore nga prilli 911 deri në vdekjen e tij.

Anastasi ishte romak nga lindja. [2] Një fisnik romak, Luciani, njihet ndonjëherë si babai i tij, megjithëse burime të tjera pohojnë se ai ishte djali i paligjshëm i paraardhësit të tij, Papa Serxhio III . 

Pothuajse asgjë nuk është regjistruar mbi Papa Anastasi III, pontifikati i tij përkoi me periudhën kur Roma dhe papati ishin në pushtetin e Teofilaktit I të Tuskulumit dhe Teodorës, të cilët miratuan kandidaturën e Anastasit III.
