Hodokvas bol multimediálny letný festival, ktorý sa konal v rokoch 2000 až 2008. Festival sa realizoval v rôznych mestách Brno, Modra, Pezinok a Piešťany. Festival sa snažil ako jeden z prvých na Slovensku prepojiť rôzne žánre umenia ako hudba, vizuálne umenie, divadlo a literatúra.

História

Zakladateľmi festivalu boli výtvarníci Milan Prekop a Igor Derevenec, ktorí usporiadali komorný výtvarno-hudobný festival v Kultúrnom centre Lužánky v Brne. Po úspešnom ročníku na Morave sa festival presunul na Slovensko, kde sa na organizácii podieľali Jozef „Dodo“ Tarkay a Michal Taliga.[1] Unikátnosťou festivalu bolo, že sa prvý krát v histórii open air podujatí v roku 2003 podaril zrealizovať na zelenej lúke v Pezinku, kde prišlo 8.000 platiacich návštevníkov. Vzhľadom na vysokú návštevnosť sa festival musel presunúť[2] na Piešťanské letisko, na ktorom zaznamenal v roku 2007[3] návštevnosť vyše 20 000 ľudí.
