Africký pohár národov 2021 bol 33. ročníkom Afrického pohára národov, pod hlavičkou Konfederácie afrického futbalu. Turnaj hostil Kamerun a konal sa od 9. januára do 6. februára 2022.[1] Alžírsko na turnaji obhajovalo titul.

Turnaj sa mal pôvodne hrať v júni a v júli 2021 ale CAF 15. januára 2020 oznámila, že z dôvodu nepriaznivých klimatických podmienok v tomto období sa turnaj odohrá od 9. januára do 6. februára 2021. Dňa 30. júna 2020 CAF presunul turnaj po druhýkrát kvôli dopadom pandémie COVID-19 na celom kontinente, pričom si turnaj ponechá názov Africký pohár národov 2021 na sponzorské účely.

Víťazom turnaja sa stal prvýkrát v histórii Senegal ktorý vo finále zdolal Egypt 1:0 po penaltách.[2]

Kvalifikácia

Na turnaj sa kvalifikovalo 24 tímov. Pre Gambiu a Komory ide o debut na tomto turnaji.
