History
Witchrot was formed in Toronto in 2018.[2] The band gained international attention in 2018 after a public breakup announcement that was covered by publications including Vice, Kerrang!, and Sky News. After that, the band came back together and continued making music.
Music
Witchrot plays doom metal. Their music also includes elements of sludge metal, psychedelia, and shoegaze.[1]
