Wedderburn Junction is a place in the Shire of Loddon, Victoria, Australia. At the 2021 census, there were 20 people living in Wedderburn Junction.[1]

Wedderburn Junction had a railway station which operated from 1882 to 1975. The town takes its name from its connection to the main railway line between Bendigo, Wycheproof and Robinvale. It was the junction for a short branch line which went to the nearby town of Wedderburn. One night in July 1895, the join between a train and its carriage broke, but the train continued north on the main line towards Korong Vale, leaving the passengers stranded in the dark. The train guard had to walk back to Wedderburn Junction to send a message for help.[4] In June 1910, a railway worker on the branch line, was struck by a train and killed.[5] In 1929 the stationmaster was replaced with a caretaker, and the branch line would be supervised from Wedderburn.[6] The branch line closed in 1986.[7] The railway line is now a bushland reserve.[8]
