Victoria Repa (Ukrainian: Вікторія Рєпа; born November 14, 1992) is a Ukrainian businesswoman and technology entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of BetterMe [en], a health and fitness company.[1][2] She is also a writer for international magazines.[3][4][5]

Early life and education

Victoria Repa was born in a village near Donetsk, Ukraine.[6][7][8] In 2014, she studied at Donetsk National University [en].[7][9] After the war in Donbass started, she moved to Kyiv. She received a scholarship to study business and financial economics at the Kyiv School of Economics.[6][7]

Later, she studied at the Stanford Executive Program and the Apple Entrepreneur Camp.[8][10]

Career

Repa first worked as a financial analyst at Procter & Gamble.[5][7][10] In 2016, she joined Genesis, a Ukrainian tech company.[11] There, she helped create fitness apps for the U.S. market.[12]

In 2017, she started BetterMe.[6] The company makes apps for fitness, mental health, and nutrition. The app became one of the top five most downloaded health and fitness apps on the App Store.[8][13] Repa is the CEO of the company.[14]

In 2022, she became a certified health coach.[15] In 2023, she became a certified Pilates instructor.[16][17] She also started a scholarship program for health coach training.[6]

During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Repa continued to lead BetterMe.[10] She added mental health tools to the app and worked with the World Health Organization to create a free stress management course for Ukrainians.[18] She also partnered with Esper Bionics and Future for Ukraine to make workouts for people with amputations.[19]

Repa is a writer for Forbes, Fast Company, Newsweek, and Entrepreneur.[20][21]
