Career

Aveyard didn’t want to become a writer at first. She went to the University of Southern California in LA to study film.[1] She began writing young adult books at the age of 21.[3] She began writing her first adult book in October 2024.[3] She will finish and print her new adult book Tempest in 2026.[3]

Red Queen

Aveyard’s most famous book is called Red Queen, a dystopian fantasy book.[3] This book was published on February 10, 2015 and was her first ever published book and the first novel in the Red Queen series.[3] Red Queen has three awards.[2] It helped boost Aveyard’s fame at the start of her career.[1]
