Victoria Aveyard is a top New York Times bestselling young adult and adult writer and a person who writes movies from Massachusetts, United States. ^[1]She has published 9 total books and won 8 awards.^[2]

Aveyard didn’t want to become a writer at first. She went to the University of Southern California in LA to study film.^[1] She began writing young adult books at the age of 21.^[3] She began writing her first adult book in October 2024.^[3] She will finish and print her new adult book Tempest in 2026.^[3]

Aveyard’s most famous book is called Red Queen, a dystopian fantasy book.^[3] This book was published on February 10, 2015 and was her first ever published book and the first novel in the Red Queen series.^[3] Red Queen has three awards.^[2] It helped boost Aveyard’s fame at the start of her career.^[1]
