VAG Rounded is a geometric sans-serif typeface based on Futura. In practice, it can be thought of as a rounded version of Futura. The two typefaces share many characteristics, such as a straight lowercase "j". VAG Rounded has been used in contexts including Volkswagen owner's manuals and Hesburger advertising. It was also used by the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation from 1985 to 1999 on the texts of their broadcasters' acronyms placed under the 'bolt' logo.
