Next Steps and Feedback meeting for Feminism and Folklore Organizers

Please help translate to your language

Dear Organizer,

I hope this message finds you well.

First and foremost, on behalf of the International Team I want to extend my gratitude to you for your efforts in organizing the Feminism and Folklore 2026 campaign on your local Wikipedia. Your contribution has been instrumental in bridging the gender and folk gap on Wikipedia, and we truly appreciate your dedication to this important cause.

As the campaign has ended I wanted to inform you about the next steps. It's time to commence the jury process using the CampWiz or Fountain tool where your campaign was hosted. Please ensure that you update the details of the jury, campaign links and the names of organizers accurately on the sign-up page.

Once the jury process is completed, kindly update only the top 3 winners details on the results page accordingly. The deadline for jury submission of results is April 30, 2026. However, if you find that the number of articles is high and you require more time, please don't hesitate to inform us via email or on campaign Meta Wiki talk page. We are more than willing to approve an extension if needed.

Should you encounter any issues with the tools, please feel free to reach out to us on Telegram for assistance.

Your feedback and progress updates are crucial for us to improve the campaign and better understand your community's insights. Therefore, we kindly ask you to spare just an hour to collectively share your progress and achievements with us during our community feedback session. Your input will greatly assist us in making the campaign more meaningful and impactful.

Thank you once again for your hard work and dedication to the Feminism and Folklore campaign. Your efforts are deeply appreciated, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Warm regards,

Tiven2240

on behalf of Feminism and Folklore International Team

re-evaluate my submissions

Hello @Haoreima, I hope you are doing well. Recently, my articles for the "Feminism and Folklore 2026" contest were marked as "not accepted" with 0 points because the pages were deleted and could not be found. My account was briefly globally locked due to a misunderstanding, which caused my pages to be temporarily deleted. However, Steward @M7 and the local admins have reviewed my case, completely cleared my account, and restored my pages. I have also reviewed the articles to ensure they meet all NPOV and quality guidelines. Could you please be so kind as to re-evaluate my submissions now? Thank you so much for your time and hard work! AMAN KUMAR (talk) 18:05, 10 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello again @Haoreima, just a quick update: I spoke with @Darkfrog24 regarding this, and they kindly mentioned that they would be happy to re-evaluate my restored articles. However, they are waiting for your final approval as the head of the contest. Could you please give them the permission to proceed? Thank you again! AMAN KUMAR (talk) 15:58, 11 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@AMAN KUMAR Since it was not a mistake from your end, I agree with the re-evaluation of your already judged articles. HAOREIMA (Khurumjari) 17:00, 12 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much, @Haoreima, for providing the technical steps on how to update the scores in the tool. And thank you, @Darkfrog24, for your willingness to re-evaluate my submissions! Just to confirm your points: I am currently in good standing (both the global lock and local blocks were completely lifted after a review of the misunderstanding), and all of the articles in question were originally created and submitted well within the contest's deadline. I truly appreciate both of your time, support, and hard work in resolving this for me.
AMAN KUMAR (talk) 04:36, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Re-reviewing on this sort of technicality isn't the extra mile. It's baseline. You are welcome anyway. Darkfrog24 (talk) 14:53, 2 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello

I don't know if this will be helpful but I will suggest you request for Flood flag right when making edit on your sandbox to avoid flooding the New changes. (~Nwa Mbata) (talk) 19:03, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Or, even more appropriately, instead of making so many small edits, make many in one big edit. CountryANDWestern (talk) 19:07, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
My system has such a function that if I keep my one window (usually the Wikipedia webpage, with some edits, not saved yet) open for a long time while surfing for others (which I frequently do for searching information including citation links), the pre-saved window automatically gets refreshed and my edits get gone. So, I did for my convenience, especially in my user page. HAOREIMA (Khurumjari) 19:24, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Wmbata Btw, I don't know where to request that right. If you can do it on my behalf, I would be grateful. Thanks. HAOREIMA (Khurumjari) 19:29, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@CountryANDWestern what is your opinion (~Nwa Mbata) (talk) 19:33, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

User:AnonLionCavalier83 has given you a kitten! Kittens promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Your kitten must be fed three times a day and will be your faithful companion forever! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a kitten, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. ~ AnonLionCavalier83 (talk) 05:20, 28 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
