Block notices

Please note that block notices should only be given by admins. You should not be going around giving block notices to anyone, especially not LTAs. While I'm here, I noticed you have a notice on this page saying If you believe that AntiVandal has incorrectly identified your edit as vandalism or spam, you may contact an administrator. If you incorrectly identify vandalism, that has nothing to do with us, unless you do it so much that it warrants a block. You should change this so if you do accidentally revert a user, they are able to get a response from you instead. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 11:08, 19 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism already warned

I already warned level two vandalism and edit warning messages. As you did it in User talk:Sazzad khan 92. You didn't need to leave a further warning. Raayaan9911 00:06, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your response. Sorry for adding a level 2 warning while there is already a level 2 warning. AntiVandal (Report false positive?) 00:27, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Adding to this, once a level 4 warning has been given you can report to VIP immediately. Level 4ims are given independently of other warnings and only for severe vandalism. So either 1->4 or 4im or neither but not both. If you have any questions on this, feel free to ask. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 21:09, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

User:Esteban McKeever/Anime-influenced animation

The edits you reverted on this page weren't vandalism; users are allowed to freely blank and/or request speedy deletion of pages in their own userspaces, except for talk pages. Passengerpigeon (talk) 03:02, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for reporting a false positive. Sorry for accidentally identifying speedy deletion requests as vandalism. AntiVandal (Report false positive?) 03:06, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
The way you're talking might mislead users into thinking you're a bot; humans make "mistakes", not "false positives". Passengerpigeon (talk) 03:10, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

CJ McCollum

Why are you reverting the page again? 2025 is when the photo was taken. Stub templates should also go on the bottom. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 21:26, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not vandalism

@AV Commons, you reverted a quality photo as vandalism.

Your wrong revert was thankfully reverted by @Ferien and the photo appropriately was restored to the page. After that revert, you reverted the caption of the restored photo with no edit summary. https://simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=CJ_McCollum&diff=next&oldid=10681583

According to the Twinkle page here: Wikipedia:Twinkle - you are responsible for you edits and that valid edits should not be removed. Additionally, you needlessly left a vandalism warning on my talk page for good edits. -- Ooligan (talk) 23:31, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for removing your invalid vandalism warning from my talk page. However, your edit summary is misleading. You wrote, "Revert per discussion ." Since you have not yet responded to my comments here, there unfortunately has been no discussion. -- Ooligan (talk) 03:40, 20 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion tags

When tagging a page for deletion, there is no need to remove the rest of the content unless it is an attack page. While admins do check the history of articles before deleting, it makes checking easier when the content remains on the page. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 21:55, 1 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
