WikiProject Baseball was founded on June 14, 2008 by RyanCross. We are a group of Wikipedians dedicated to improving the coverage of topics related to baseball on Wikipedia such as baseball organizations, players, and information on all related topics. Mission

• To provide guidelines and recommendations for articles that describe all aspects of baseball.
• To improve Wikipedia's coverage of baseball by creating, expanding, and maintaining such articles.
• To serve as the central point of discussion for issues related to baseball in Wikipedia.

Scope

• The scope of WikiProject Baseball is the sport of baseball and all related articles.
• This WikiProject aims to create standards for the different sets of baseball-related articles, from statistics to histories to players, venues, and strategies.
