In the world there are lots of football teams.there are over 10,000 in the world.To have football teams here must be football leagues and divisions.There are many teams all around the world. Sadly some internationals or teams do not qualify as a team. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. It is played by 250 million players in over 200 countries, making it the world's most popular sport. The game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end. The object of the game is to score by getting the ball into the opposing goal. The goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with their hands or arms while it is in play and then only in their penalty area. Outfield players mostly use their feet to strike or pass the ball, but may use their head or torso to strike the ball instead. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is level at the end of the game, either a draw is declared or the game goes into extra time and/or a penalty shootout depending on the format of the competition. The Laws of the Game were originally codified in England by The Football Association in 1863. Association football is governed internationally by FIFA, who organizes the quadrennial FIFA World Cup and Women's World Cup tournaments. And here are some of the best teams ;

There are many famous goals that have been scored over the football years and seasons. One famous goal was by Cristiano Ronaldo,he jumped and did a back heel in the air while spinning, it was scored last season and was named 'the goal of the season.' some of them you can score without using you feet E.G headers. Some goals can not be scored but takes skill to preform. A impossible goal to score was from Tim Howard. From the Goalie Kick he knocked it to the other half (with accuracy and power obviously ) and scored. In association football, the goal is the only method of scoring. Positions

In the sport of association football, each of the 11 players on a team is assigned to a particular position on the field of play. A team is made up of one goalkeeper and ten outfield players who fill various defensive, midfield and attacking positions depending on the formation deployed. These positions describe both the player's main role and their area of operation on the pitch.In defence, there were full-backs, known as the left-back and right-back; in midfield, left-half, centre-half and right-half; and for the forward line there were outside-left (or left wing), inside-left, centre-forward, inside-right and outside-right (or right wing). In the world of football there are lots of formations. Formations are a thing that tells you where to play e.g ... defenders, ... midfielder and ... strikers. the ... strikers go behind all the defenders except the goalie excreta. Every team has a formation and tactic. Some teams keep a simple formation and tactic however others have advanced formations and tactics.It tells how the players in a team are positioned on the pitch. Different formations can be used depending on whether a team wishes to play more attacking or defensive football.Formations are used in both professional and amateur football matches. In amateur matches these tactics are sometimes more simpler due to the strict rules. Skill and discipline on behalf of the players is also needed to carry out a given formation in professional football.Formations need to be chosen bearing in mind which players are available like the best for that position or if they have anybody available or that can play in that that positions.
