Michael Temitope Collins is a Nigerian-Canadian financial technology entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO at Periculum Technologies Inc.

Michael was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and was raised by his Grandparents in Surulere. He went to King's College Lagos, where he graduated in 2002, and he was admitted to study Business Administration at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC, in 2004. He later transferred to Thompson Rivers University in 2005, completing two years of his program before deciding to drop out and go into the workforce.

He worked for two Canadian banks in British Columbia before moving to Edmonton, Alberta, to start his first company Great North Capital. They provided loans to underserved people and companies in a community. The company achieved some success, but he shut down the company in May 2019.

Michael founded Periculum in June of 2019 to help solve the issues of access to loans in underserved markets, expanding on his work at Great North Capital.

He got accepted into the Founder Institute Toronto tech corridor, pre-seed program company in November 2020, graduating in March 2021. In September 2021, Periculum was included in Founder Institutes Select Portfolio, a designation given to the top 2% of graduates from the world's premier pre-seed startup accelerator. Among the Founder Institute's 5,000+ Graduates across six continents, the Select Portfolio represents the Elite companies that have demonstrated strong early traction.

Periculum successfully completed their pre-seed round raising $620,000 from Techstars, Loyal VC, First Fund, and White Hibiscus Capital.

In September 2021, Michael and Periculum were accepted into the 2021 Techstars Montréal AI accelerator program.
