Trioxidane, also called dihydrogen trioxide, is the chemical compound with the formula H2O3. It is the simplest polyoxide, a type of chemical that has three or more oxygen atoms linked together in a chain.[1] This family of chemicals is related to water and hydrogen peroxide, but they are much more unstable.

Trioxidane is a proposed reaction intermediate for when living things make ozone from singlet oxygen,[2] but this is debated because H2O3 breaks apart into water and oxygen, not ozone and hydrogen peroxide.[3]
