Train to Busan (Hangul: 부산행; RR: Busanhaeng, lit: To Busan) is a 2016 South Korean zombie apocalypse action thriller movie[4][5][6][7][8] directed by Yeon Sang-ho and starring Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, Kim Su-an, Choi Woo-shik, Ahn So-hee, and Ma Dong-seok with Kim Eui-sung.[9] The movie mostly takes place on a high-speed train from Seoul to Busan, as a zombie apocalypse suddenly breaks out in the country putting the safety of the passengers at risk.

The movie premiered on 13 May 2016 at the Cannes Film Festival.[10][11][12][13] On 7 August, the movie set a record as the first Korean movie of 2016 to break the audience record of over 10 million audience turnout.[14][15]

Its sequel is the 2020 movie Peninsula.

Variety said in December 2016 that Gaumont would remake Train to Busan in English.[16]
