Tim Washe (born August 25, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey center. He currently plays for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Before playing in the NHL, Washe played three seasons with the Nanaimo Clippers of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) and five years with the Western Michigan Broncos of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC). He had a successful time with his teams. With the Broncos, he served as the captain and was named the NCHC Defensive Forward of the Year.[1] He helped the Broncos when they went on a run in the NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament. They defeated the Minnesota State Mavericks, UMass Minutemen, and Denver Pioneers to make it to the Frozen Four. They went on to defeat the Boston Terriers 6–2 to win the National Championship.[2]
He was not drafted by an NHL team. On April 14, 2025, Washe signed a three-year entry-level contract to join the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL).[3]
On April 15, 2025, Washe made his NHL debut in a 3–2 overtime loss against the Minnesota Wild.[4] On August 4, Washe signed a two-year, $775,000 contract to stay with the Ducks.[5] On January 16, 2026, Washe scored his first NHL goal against Darcy Kuemper in a 3–2 shootout win against the Los Angeles Kings.[6]
