The Yearling is a 1946 American drama movie directed by Clarence Brown and was based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. It stars Gregory Peck, Jane Wyman, Claude Jarman Jr., Chill Wills, Forrest Tucker, Henry Travers, Clem Beavans, Margaret Wycherly and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was nominated for 7 Oscars and won 2 Academy Awards.[1]
