The Whale (2022 movie)

The Whale is a 2022 American drama movie directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Samuel D. Hunter. It is based on Hunter's 2012 play of the same name. It stars Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Ty Simpkins, and Samantha Morton.

The movie is about a depressed English teacher with obesity who tries to fix his relationship with his teenage daughter.

The Whale was released on December 21, 2022 by A24. The movie was controversial for its portrayal of obese people, however Fraser's and Chau's performances had positive reviews, both of which would earn nominations for an Academy Award.

Thermal energy stored in ocean water There has been an increase in ocean heat content during recent decades as the oceans absorb most of the excess heat created by human-induced global warming.[1] Ocean heat content (OHC) is the energy absorbed and stored by oceans. To calculate the ocean heat content, it is necessary to measure ocean temperature at many different locations and depths. Integrating the areal density of ocean heat over an ocean basin or entire ocean gives the total ocea...
