@Griffinofwales: After that long, I don't know what my reason was at the time. I do see that this one has many fewer transclusions (93 vs. over 72,000) than Template:Navbox. I also see that enwiki redirects this name to Template:Navbox. I would think we could do the same, if we verify that Template:Navbox works for the ones that currently use this one. It looks like it might be only a handful of templates that use this one. I'd be willing to work on that, unless you want to do it.
