Purpose

This template provides a convenient way to produce an external link to an episode of John Gilliland's the Pop Chronicles music documentary. The template can be used to link any show at the unt.edu website, including the Other websites section or when citing a show as a source.

Valid with these three parameters only:

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
show optional The show number in the series. There are currently 55 shows online, so this number should run from 1 to 55. If omitted, it defaults to 1 (the first show in the series).
track optional Some artists only appear on a single track of a show. This specifies which track. The template now ignores this data. So, this now serves for documentation only.
name optional Label to display for the link. If omitted, it defaults to the name of the article where this template is used.
