- This template provides an external link to a listing on the Directory of Federal Heritage Designations (Canada), for use in references.
- The template only functions for federal heritage buildings, as indicated by "fhbro" in the url (e.g. http://www.pc.gc.ca/apps/dfhd/page_fhbro_eng.aspx?id=11247). It fails for national heritage sites (e.g. http://www.pc.gc.ca/apps/dfhd/page_nhs_eng.aspx?id=844)
Usage

Both of the following parametres are required:
id1=The DFHD ID number for the site, found in the url (e.g. http://www.pc.gc.ca/apps/dfhd/page_fhbro_eng.aspx?id=11247)
id2=The full designation name of the site.
The following parametre is optional:
id3=The retrieval date.
Example
