Split rationale?

What is the rationale for splitting this from the main Windows 7 article? The pages is 50 words long, so why should the differences between the editions not be covered under the main article? The general practice on Simple is to have far less excessive detail than on the English Wikipedia, so is the main article likely to reach a length that will be too long to comfortably read? Certainly not the case at the moment, so why the split? Osiris (talk) 23:26, 20 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
