Found an image!

Hey! By checking out the Japanese article of Mario, (Note that I don't understand Japanese) I found an image that's in line with Mario's current appearance! And it's a file from Wikimedia Commons! Here's a link to the image. [[[1]]] EDIT: I uploaded the image. Panda Bear 07:27, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request move

I believe this page and some of the other characters should be moved to new pages:

To anyone who believes the disambiguation is needed, please note that Mario, Luigi and Bowser all redirect to these (Nintendo) pages. I'd move the pages myself but I do not have permission at this time. Harry Blue5 (talk) 11:31, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Seems reasonable. It would save us a few redirects. And on the English Wikipedia, en:Mario en:Luigi, but not en:Bowser, are Nintendo characters.wiooiw (talk) 11:40, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I agree that Bowser should probably not be the main topic, but right now Bowser redirects to Bowser (Nintendo) so until a disambig page is created for Bowser, we may as well move it there. For now, the (Nintendo) bit is redundant as Bowser (and etc.) all redirect to the (Nintendo) counterparts.Harry Blue5 (talk) 14:48, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I like the idea. Blake (Talk·Edits) 18:18, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I don't think so. Mario and Luigi are names and they should be disambiguation pages. --Diego Grez let's talk 18:20, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Does SEWP have any other Marios? If not, this seems OK. πr2 (talk • changes) 18:21, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not many pages? Are you kidding? :-P --Diego Grez let's talk 18:33, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Did I omit the "<sarcasm></sarcasm>" tags? πr2 (talk • changes) 18:35, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Most of the articles beginning with Mario were Mario games... Harry Blue5 (talk) 10:42, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Readability

According to research by the University of Twente and Babbletics, the readability of Wikipedia articles is not very good. The score (using the Flesch Reading Ease test) should be at least 60, Wikipedia scores an average of 51.2 points. Even the 'simple English' articles score below average. Maybe we can do something about it. Just changing a simple thing in the 'simple English' article of Mario increased the score from 58 to 59%. DaProx (talk) 04:45, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
