An anonymous editor has added a new image, which I disagree with the addition of. The old image shows the "tube" shape, which is what the purpose of the image is. The new image shows a cut and cover rectangular tunnel. The user has also mentioned that the station is red-linked, which is perfectly acceptable on this wiki. - @Macdonald-ross: The idea is to demonstrate the origin of the nickname "the Tube". The second image appears to be a part of the Tube above ground. I don't have an issue with including it in general, but not for the purpose of demonstrating this. --IWI (talk) 14:06, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- Obviously the caption should go with the first image, and I would also use the second image further down because it shows what many stations are like nowadays. Most lines run above ground or in open cuttings for part of the way. Macdonald-ross (talk) 16:47, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

- Image A shows the tube (i.e. tunnel) while B show the train is tube shaped, why not we just put both. We are here for ESL users and learners of the language, and usually people learn by looking at pictures (a picture paints a thousand words), so I will recommend putting both pictures, I don't think it's excessive given the length of the page.Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 16:32, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
