There was a huge Brownstone quarry located on the Connecticut River located in Portland (across from Middletown). Was driving through there (Portland) and saw fields I found out later were for growing tobacco leaves used in wrapping cigars. A bunch of "attractions" throughout the state exist, current and historical, that are not listed on the page. 57.140.108.6 (talk) 21:06, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
