The 100 m backstroke event at the 1922 Women's Olympiad was held on 22 April 1922. The venue of the competition was the Port Hercules, the harbour of Monte Carlo, Monaco.[1]

The winner of each heat and the fastest number two continued to the final.[1] The Dutch Truus Klapwijk won the third heat ahead of the French ladies Brinter and Porter.[2][3]
